Valves are used to block the flow of gaseous or liquid media in pipelines of various pressures and conditional (nominal) passages. The low hydraulic resistance of the valves makes them especially valuable when used on pipelines through which the medium is constantly moving at high speed. According to the design of the valve body, the valves are usually made full-bore, i.e. the diameters of the passage section of the seats do not narrow.
The valves are made with a retractable spindle (the threads of the spindle and the running nut are located outside).
